I've been working with my band and so far they have shown me a few songs that are pretty neat. I kept thinking of how they could just make up random solo bits and make it so good. I had shown them some of my work and so far my band wants to Re-do Club Jump with real instruments and perform it live somewhere...

nice song bigining my favorite part and those high picht osunds of the synth buy it self dosent sound to well. but when it all comes all at onec its nicly played oh btw i tried making a battle song ... =D .... It's all stutters man. Doesn't take too long, just messing around. There's guys out there who really take it to the extreme though. I just listen to them, and think damn! I've wasted my life..;P
3*osc, nah man, I'm a disciple of the school of Sytrus. plus Z3ta+ rocks big time. recommended, but it eats up the CPU like crazy!

Killing spree, you're right dude, thats some awesome animation and music.
Making melodies and riffs? Well, usually 5 minutes I'd say? But then again sometimes you can bang the keyboard for half an hour and get nothing, so yeah, it depends on your mood I suppose.
All you can do is keep trying! And don't make it too complicated. i always need to remind myself. When you hear a killer track, its never insanely complex is it?
